The term “Ultimate food pairing sake” is first used by Hakurakusei's brewer. In our opinion, he was extremely successful, with its balanced taste and sweet nose, this sake can be paired with a wide range of food. The fruity banana nose makes this sake seem sweet in the beginning but ends with a slightly acidity and dry after taste.
Food pairing suggestion: Seafood, especially rich sea urchin or lobsters and grilled meat.
Rikyubai is named after a cherry tree in the garden of the brewery. It is the traditional label consumed around the brewery for decades.
