Description: The one and only sweet potato SHOCHU from the Yanagita brewery. Its production was ceased for 35 years; it was proudly revived in 2013. The sweet potatoes called "KOGANESENGAN" are richly harvested in Southern Kyushu and we use our underground spring water, this is the same spring water we have used for generations and is used in all of our products.
Tasting Notes: Adding hand-made black Koji creates depth of taste, yet the gentle sweetness is attractive with the ladies as well.
Food pairing suggestion: It pairs well with rich and spicy food. For example, yakiniku, Chinese and rich tasting hotpots.
Serving suggestions: On the rocks. Mixing with water, with 6 parts shochu and 4 parts water. Mixing with hot water, 6 parts shochu and 4 parts water. It can also be mixed with soda or fruit juice.
