Description: This sake is the pride of this brewery. It has been selected to be served on Japanese government aircrafts (Japan’s Air Force One) to both domestic and foreign VIPs, including the Japanese royal family.
Tasting Notes: A soft and elegant sake, with a fruity nose and a medium finish. This is a “Nama Chozo” which means it’s only pasteurized once before it’s released from the brewery.
Food pairing suggestion: This elegant sake is best with fish – preferably, simply prepared to showcase the natural freshness of the seafood (eg. steamed and grilled fish or sashimi)
Rikyubai is named after a cherry tree in the garden of the brewery. It is the traditional label consumed around the brewery for decades.
