An old saying says that “the best rice in the east is Kame no O and the best in the west is Asahi”. Light fruity nose with a freshing and balanced palate. A mellow and elegant sake that is very easy to drink. The finish round and smooth that is not too dry. Most dishes go with this mellow and well balanced sake. However, we prefer dishes deep fried dishes, such as spring rolls and tempura.
Rikyubai is named after a cherry tree in the garden of the brewery. It is the traditional label consumed around the brewery for decades.
