Order

I don’t like using online shop.  Do you have a shop?

We do! However, due to the current pandemic, we have limited staff and limited hours. Please check our most updated hours on your facebook page.

At other sake or wine shop, they let us taste some products for free.  How do I know whether I like something without tasting it?

We often have free and paid tastings at our partner bars or restaurants.  Like us on Facebook to be notified of our next tasting.

Unfortunately, like other sake or wine shop, not all products are available for free tastings. We understand the difficulty of choosing a bottle without being a sake expert. To assist you with this task, our online shop has detailed tasting notes, serving suggestion, food pairing information for each label.

Payments

How do I make payments?

Our online store is hosted on Shopify, one of the largest e-commerces company in the world and payment is processed through their highly secured system. We also accept direct bank transfers before shipment.

For other orders, we accept payme, banktransfer, Paypal and cash.

Delivery

 How much is delivery?

Delivery is free for orders above HK$500.  For orders below HK$500, a delivery charge of HK$50 is applicable.

When will I receive my order?

Most of our online orders is shipped by SF Express. Orders is usually shipped out within 1 or 2 business days and arrive the day after dispatch. You will receive a confirmation email after checkout and waybill number after dispatch. For details about your orders, you can email us at sales@koji-sake.com.

Notes:

- We do not deliver outside of Hong Kong or if there is no functioning lift to the 4th floor or above.


- We do not deliver when Typhoon Signal #8 or the Black Rain signal is hoisted.

How is my sake shipped?

For nama (unpasteurised) sake and premium sake, we use a refridgerated delivery truck to ensure that the quality of your sake is not compromised. Please transfer the sake to a refridgerator as soon as possible upon receipt.

At no time will we expose our sake to intense heat or sunlight.

Can you leave the sake with my building management office or security guard?

We are sorry, but to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all our customers, we do not leave sake at a management office or security guard, even if it is explicitly agreed by you.

Security

What is your privacy policy?

We understand that your information is private and our privacy policy is formulated in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).  For details, please see our Privacy Policy Statement.

Do you keep my credit card information?

For our online shop customers, your credit card details are given by you directly to Shopify or PayPal, both are one of the world's largest e-commerce company. We never see these details.

Why do you keep my contact details?

We keep your address details, phone and email so that we can effectively deliver to you and follow up if we have any questions about your order. This information is kept secure by our organization and, except as otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy Statement and Personal Information Collection Statement, is not shared with anyone else.

Why do you send me newsletters?

We add your email address to our newsletter system so that we can let you know about any specials or new products. You can unsubscribe using the 'unsubscribe' function on our newsletter at any time.
