There are only a handful of distiller making shochu using glutinous rice and Himeizumi is one of them. After aging in wood caskets, this shochu acquires a light amber colour and sweetness. It has a whiskey like aroma that can be enjoyed using whiskey glasses.
Rikyubai is named after a cherry tree in the garden of the brewery. It is the traditional label consumed around the brewery for decades.
